NaNoWriMo Calendar

I just realized that there's a Friday the Thirteenth in the middle of NaNoWriMo!

Friday

Lunch Break Blogging

I still have NaNoWriMo on the brain! Even at work it festers in the back of my mind.

I started brainstorming for it in a notebook last night. Nothing real heavy. Mostly character names and a couple plot bunnies.

Is it November yet?

Those Who Can't Sing, Karaoke!

Nothing like another karaoke night to get me pumped up. Tonight so far I've sang "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi. And I've put in "Build Me Up Buttercup" by the Foundations plus "The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band.

Even here though my mind is leaning toward upcoming NaNoWriMo. I know it is two months away but I'm immensely excited about it. Possible plots are chasing themselves around my mind. Though I decided what the novel would be about before I wrapped up last years novel, now I've got other enticing ideas popping into my head.

Also on my mind for NaNoWriMo is possibly getting a "netbook" for more mobile noveling. My laptop is two years old, runs slow, and is too bulky for me to enjoy hauling it around. I've been doing some online shopping and there are some decent deals on refurbed netbooks out there.

I guess only time will tell.

Song Bomb

We've all had it happen to us. One second you're walking around with a clear mind and then suddenly there's a song stuck in there. An Ear Worm from hell!

Maybe someone hummed a bar or two of it, or it played in the background of a commercial.

You, my friend, have just been Song Bombed!

The ideal solution to rid yourself of this pesky song is to bomb someone else with it. You know, pass on the love. Sing the chorus a few times on a car ride. Or set it as your ring tone and maybe pass it to a stranger in line at the store.

Whatever your method, Song Bomb someone today.

Sound Check

Al right, here it goes. The test run of Blackberry blog posting. I'm trying via e-mail first. I chose this mainly because SMS or MMS posting would be limited to the number of characters my phone company has imposed upon me.

I have attached a picture taken as I traveled past "South of the Border" on my way to Orlando, FL. I'm not sure how it will appear loading it this way.
